(Annie/Jacksonville, FL) A: My favorite color is black, because it is associated with sophistication, sexuality, mystery, and in some cultures it represents wisdom and fertility even though it's often linked with evil, death, sadness and anger, but it also banishes and absorbs negativity, this is why I love the color black. To me black is the absence of all colors. _____________________________________________ Q: WHAT'S YOUR SECRET FOR STAYING SO THIN? (Carol/Atlanta, GA) A: I don't have a secret. I'm sure I have to do the same things you do to stay in shape. My body is my sanctuary and I take good care of it. I try to exercise and sleep as much as possible. (or when time permits) I don't drink, I don't smoke and I try not to stress out too much. I keep a healthy diet (with some sweets) and I don't eat out a lot because I love to cook :) ______________________________________________ Q: HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A PHOTO SHOOT, AND DO YOU GET NERVOUS? (Kelly/Chicago, IL) A: Wow, let me tell you! there's a lot involve in getting prepare for a shoot. Modeling is not as easy as it seems. You and your body go through a lot not to mention some of the painful grooming you'll have to experience (ouch!!) There's a checklist regimen I follow prior to a shoot. (among the obvious things) To mention a few: I first prepare my mind and body. I meditate for an hour or two (it helps me relax) I try to get as much sleep as possible (to prevent the bags or black circles around the eyes), I stretch a lot so I can be as flexible as possible, and I don't eat greasy foods (prevents me from having unexpected pimples). As far as getting nervous, I don't do it as much, I think is more of the excitement that takes over :) _____________________________________________ Q: WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE CUISINE AND WHICH ONE IS A NO-NO? (Gloria/Tampa, FL) A: Panamanian cuisine is my favorite of course, and the NO-NO part is French cuisine. I'm sorry but I still can't get pass the snails... eowwwww :-/ _____________________________________________ Q: DO YOU THINK YOU'LL BE FAMOUS SOMEDAY? (Alley/Birmingham, AL) A: Why? Do you have an offer? :) I really can't answer that question, as I don't know what the future might bring. I guess we'll just have to see what happens. _____________________________________________ Q: I'M TAKING CONVERSATIONAL SPANISH AND IT'S HARD! DID YOU HAVE THIS MUCH TROUBLE LEARNING ENGLISH? (Lisa/Fort Laureldale) A: To my advantage I grew up with both languages. My family spoke English and Spanish fluently so by the time I was seven years old I had them down path (at least on a seven year old level :), and as I grew older I got better. It's going to get better (everything does with practice) Hang in there Lisa! _____________________________________________ Q: HOW OFTEN YOU GO BACK HOME? DO YOU MISS IT? (Billy/Chattanooga, TN) A: I haven't been back to my home country since I came to the US. Life has a way of keeping me busy, but I plan to visit in the next couple of years. As far as missing it, I DO EVERYDAY! _____________________________________________ Q: WHAT KIND OF MUSIC DO YOU LISTEN TOO? (Angie/Knoxville, TN) A: I listen to all kinds. But I prefer Latin music and jazz. _____________________________________________ |
